Music Therapy: Music has numerous qualities that can be used to promote growth in the five main areas of development: communication, social, motor, cognitive and adaptive skills. We provide: Early Intervention services are therapeutic services for young children who have, or are at risk of developing delays in their development. Music Therapy provides a variety of music experiences in a developmentally appropriate manner to effect changes in a child's behavior and facilitate growth in the areas of development. Babies Can't Wait (BCW) is Georgia's statewide interagency service delivery system for infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities and their families. Music therapy is an approved from of Special Instruction for Babies Can't Wait! Kindermusik® is an early childhood music and movement program based on the beliefs that every child is musical, every parent is the child's most important teacher, and that based on research, music nurtures a child's communication, social, motor, and cognitive development. |
